Derick is a PhD Student in the Molecular Medicine program at Case Western Reserve University. He earned his BS in Molecular Biology at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Derick’s research focuses on astrocyte-mediated contributions to drug resistance in Glioblastoma. His work primarily involves applying single cell and spatial transcriptomics to contribute to clinical understanding and potential therapeutic targets. Outside of the lab, Derick loves to cook, read fantasy series, and backpack/camp.
