Tommy is an MSTP (MD-PhD) student in the Pharmacology department. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Biochemistry and an MS in Chemistry. His previous work revolved around chemical biology, developing small molecules and protein tags for selective protein degradation. In the Dhawan lab, he works on developing lipid nanoparticle technology for precision cancer therapies for gliomas. Outside of the lab, Tommy likes to bake, binge TV shows, and perfect his latte art.
